When a Sim invites another Sim to duet dance , sometimes they might arrive and forget why they came or get distracted by something else in the room. Usually, re-inviting them will get the duet dance started. When a Sim invites another Sim to duet dance , sometimes they might arrive and forget why they came or get distracted by something else in the room. While duet dance, the Sims will increase both their friendship and romance levels. If they are family members, they'll receive a positive moodlet indicating their connection. However, if they make mistakes during the dance, a negative "stepped on foot" effect will occur.
Duet dancing is an intimate and romantic activity, so if the invited Sim has a partner present, the partner might become upset.
The Seductive Dance is a special interaction available in the Lovestruck Expansion Pack. If there's already have Sims dancing on the rug, the invited Sim will find a nearby spot to start their Seductive Dance.
Neither dance requires any music; love in the air is enough to get the couple dancing!
