[BG] SGFX Override - Pure Black Loading Screen + Transition Screen 🔄 3-6-2025 ☄️ 3-10-2025

REQUIRES THE SIMS 4: BASE GAME

This is my SEVENTH standalone neurodiversity-friendly SGFX Override.

This override changes the color of the CAS Transition Screen from that awful blinding white abomination to a scenic and picturesque pure black void - a pure black void that now envelops the Loading Screen too!

Your eyes will thank me. You're welcome.

CONFLICTS OUT THE WAZOO:

This will conflict with any third-party mod that changes the Loading Screen Background or replaces the Plumbob animation.

Plumbob recolors are fine because they are "external" Resource Overrides.

MY STANDALONE SGFX OVERRIDES AND PATCHES ALWAYS WORK:

If you download one and it ain't workin', it means you have a conflicting mod.

If the issue is with a patch, ensure that the patch version matches the version of the third-party mod it was made for.

You are welcomed to request a patch in the comments for any mods I haven't patched yet. I can patch (almost) anything.

MY STANDALONE SGFX OVERRIDES ARE UPDATED FREQUENTLY:

In fact, they are updated almost every time the game is updated.

I do not fully understand these Scale Form GFX resources, so I am not comfortable with my SGFX Overrides not being 100% compatible with the game.

I MEAN TO DESTROY ALL ANNOYING UI EFFECTS:

Each standalone SGFX Override affects one or two or a few areas of our UI.

To remove all GODRAYS and GLOWING DOTS, you need to mix and match my standalone SGFX Overrides and/or my SGFX Patches.

I shortened the names of third-party mods in the list below.

"BBB" is Better BuildBuy, "MTiC" is More Traits in CAS, and "UIC" is UI Cheats Extension.
