A High Maintenance Sim has delicate feelings it's true, but a hangnail probably shouldn't cause a tense mood for 8 hours, and while shampoo in your eyes is pretty nasty, even a high maintenance sim should be able to put it behind them quicker than that.
This mod increases the intensity of the buffs from the High Maintenance trait while reducing their duration.
