I wanted my sims to have lifestyles a few months ago and saw that they are completely broken (as a tradition of EA nowadays) because I started seeing things like this:
Alright, it's time to get up and workout for a bit!
Nevermind! -.-
Why for the love of all that's good make those buffs uncomfortable ones when you can have chosen the tense emotion?? I mean, even Active sims gets tense when they don't exercise for a while!
By the way that's just the tip of the iceberg because there are other issues with this system, like neglection buffs are not persistent, they get removed by traveling, so you can basically remove wathever bad neglection buff by just visiting the lot/apartment next door. Workaholic sims will get jobless buff when they just switched careers. Outdoorsy, indoorsy tunings don't make sense. Family members counting for close-knit and people person, and extreme outdoorsy neglection buff being +3 instead of +5. It's this bad yeah, and of course NONE of these bugs were fixed during these years! (Who cares about gameplay anyway, right EA?) -.-
So, what this mod does is:
- Changed the neglection buffs for the Energetic lifestyle from the nonsensical Uncomfortable to Tense emotion.
- Neglection negative buffs will now PERSIST when traveling.
NOTE: I decided to NOT make the conflicting neglection buffs persistent (the ones you get with conflicting traits and lifestyles like "Active" Sim with a "Sedentary" lifestyle) simply because they are just Fine +1 mostly, and don't make sense!
- Workaholic sims will now not have the "Jobless" buff when they just switch careers.
- "Desperate to be Outside" buff is now a proper +5 buff instead of wrong +3.
- Family members will not count anymore for the Close-knit and People person lifestyles.
- Being outside makes an impact for sims with the Outdoorsy lifestyle, same for Indoorsy for staying indoors, so now reading a book outside will not count for Indoorsy sims.
- Workaholic sims won't need PTO anymore.
If you notice any other inconsistencies or nonsense with this system please let me know and I'll see what I can do!
