The multiple intelligence theory organizes people into different categories depending on where their skills lie. While people are categorized by their IQ when it comes to their intelligence, I'd say that this type of categorization is not -in a way-fair or correct. IQ tests, actually, categorize people based on their level of skills, therefore the results presented are static and based on the skill level that a person indicates at any present moment.
Einstein said; “Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”
The theory behind the 9 types of intelligence was first proposed by Howard Gardner, a psychologist from the University of Harvard. Gardner outlined his theory of multiple intelligences in 1983 in his book ‘Frames of Mind: The Theory of Multiple Intelligences’.
Since then, the concept of multiple intelligences has been developed and expanded. The theory is now used in learning design and education.
So, presenting you the 9 Types of intelligence, that they will make any sim unique and a genius based on their intuitive talented field. That is not to say that you cannot give your sim multiple intelligences. And also weaknesses. The mod includes 9 more weaknesses traits to mix and match any way that suits you.
Anyway, there are 9 traits that represent the strong intelligences and 9 more that represent the weakness in these same types of intelligence.
The traits are gameplay, you will not find them in the CAS or Create A Sim Menu.
Either add them through the cheat menu by clicking on your sim or using the MC Command Center.

+Intel.Existential
Cosmic Smarts sims have the ability to use meta-cognition in seeking to know more about life’s purpose or the unknown, and are interested in intellectual debates and big questions such as “Why are we here?” or “What is the meaning of it all?” They enjoy reading books, listening to music or watching others playing music, viewing art and writing.
-Intel.Existential Weak
Weaknesses in existential intelligence can lead to feelings of confusion or nihilism, and may make it difficult to find a sense of direction or purpose. These sims feel a sense of scare when reading books, listening to music or watching others playing music, viewing art and writing.
+Intel.Interpersonal (by the way, I admire people with this kind of intelligence)
People Smarts sims have the ability to effectively interact with and understand other sims. Interpersonal intelligence is the ability to understand and relate to others, which can involve skills like empathy, communication, and social awareness. These sims really appreciate and enjoy communicating with others, like mentoring, being in a group, and being a part of a community in general.
-Intel.Interpersonal Weak
Weaknesses in interpersonal intelligence can make it difficult to connect with others and may lead to social isolation. These sims can find it hard communicating with others, like mentoring, being in a group, and being a part of a community in general.
+Intel.Intrapersonal
Self Smarts sims have the ability to understand oneself and utilize such knowledge in one’s decision-making and planning. They usually have rich and rewarding introspection and like to process their experiences in depth. These sims really appreciate and enjoy communicating their insights, enjoy listening to music, relaxing and reading.
-Intel.Intrapersonal Weak
Weaknesses in intrapersonal intelligence can make it difficult to understand one's own emotions and motivations, which can impact overall well-being and lead to feelings of confusion or anxiety. These sims do not really enjoy communicating their insights with others, listening to music and cannot easily relax.
+Intel.Kinesthetic
Body Smarts sims have the ability to use the body to communicate, solve challenges and problems, and process information through movement, gestures, and facial expressions. This type of intelligence is associated with dexterity, flexibility, and coordination. Dancing, doing occasional work-outs, taking regular walks, swimming and so on, comes completely natural to them.
-Intel.Kinesthetic Weak
Weaknesses in bodily-kinesthetic intelligence can make it difficult to perform physical tasks and may impact overall physical health. These sims cannot easily go dancing, do work-outs, take walks, swim and so on.
+Intel.Linguistic
Word Smarts sims have the ability to use language effectively, both in spoken and written form. Sims with strong linguistic intelligence tend to be good at communication, writing, and debating. As a result, they enjoy and can be very good at forming their opinions beautifully, writing, researching and debating.
-Intel.Linguistic Weak
Weaknesses in linguistic intelligence can make it difficult to express oneself effectively, which can impact many areas of life, including career opportunities and personal relationships. These sims cannot form their opinions beautifully, and writing, researching and debating is hard for them to work on.
+Intel.Logical
Number Smarts sims have the ability to work well with numbers, complex concepts, and scientific ideas. It involves calculating, quantifying, hypothesizing, and thinking in mathematical abstractions and sequential reasoning, as well as inductive and deductive thinking. These sims enjoy all kinds of mental stimulating activities, raging from reading, to playing games and so on.
-Intel.Logical Weak
Weaknesses in logical-mathematical intelligence can make it difficult to understand complex concepts and solve complex problems. These sims are weak at mental stimulating activities, raging from reading, to playing games and so on.
+Intel.Musical
Sound Smarts sims have the ability to distinguish and appreciate the different elements of music as exhibited by singers, musicians, composers, conductors. They are usually keen listeners who excel in their capacity to create, remember, and discern musical patterns, as well as melodies, beats, and songs. Listening and playing music can make these sims more than happy.
-Intel.Musical Weak
Weaknesses in musical intelligence can make it difficult to appreciate or create music. Listening and playing music is really not something that these sims are really interested in.
+Intel.Naturalistic
Nature Smarts sims have the ability to be in tune with the natural world and discern the patterns that govern its ecology. They are interested in learning more about nature, exploring and saving the environment, and nurturing life. These sims enjoy gardening, fishing, hiking and exploring all that nature has to offer in general.
-Intel.Naturalistic Weak
Weaknesses in naturalistic intelligence may make it difficult to understand or appreciate the natural world, which can impact overall well-being and lead to feelings of disconnection from the environment. These sims don't really enjoy gardening, fishing, hiking and exploring nature in general.
+Intel.Visual
Picture Smarts sims have the ability to think in spatial relations and images. They often excel in areas related to artistic skills, mental imagery manipulation, pictorial imagination, and spatial analysis. These sims enjoy painting, designing, viewing and talking about visual arts.
-Intel.Visual Weak
Weaknesses in spatial intelligence can make it difficult to visualize concepts and understand complex spatial relationships. These sims do not particularly enjoy painting, designing, viewing or talking about visual arts.
Like my other intelligence traits mod, sims become inspired while painting, but only as long as they have the Visual Intelligence, also they become inspired while practicing music, but only if they have the Musical Intelligence. They become energized while dancing or working out, but only if they have the Kinesthetic Intelligence. They become focused while programming or reading, but only if they have the Reasoning Intelligence.
On the other hand, sims with a specific weakness always have some kind of negative moodlet depending on the intelligence that they have to build to improve. However, these sims do not create moodlets to other sims when expressing their discomfort, at least not yet. Hopefully, on my next update, I may create some emotional connection with other sims.
The traits are gameplay and can be added from ages child, teen, young adult, adult and elder.
Sims with strong intelligence emotionally connect when interacting like this;
- Existential with Existential, Intrapersonal and Naturalistic
- Interpersonal with Interpersonal, Linguistic and Existential
- Intrapersonal with Intrapersonal, Existential and Naturalistic
- Kinesthetic with Kinesthetic, Visual and Naturalistic
- Linguistic with Linguistic, Interpersonal and Existential
- Logical with Logical and Linguistic
- Musical with Musical, Linguistic and Visual
- Naturalistic with Naturalistic, Existential and Intrapersonal
- Visual with Visual, Musical and Linguistic.
P.S. My thoughts and personal experiences.
For example, I have strong existential, musical, visual, and kinesthetic intelligences, but I also have weak interpersonal - unfortunately. We cannot be great at everything, and an IQ test cannot show how talented a person may be in gymnastics or dancing and so on. Yes, you can be music smarts or body smarts, but living in this technocratic age they taught you that all that it counts is to be number smarts. NO. It isn't. And don't be so proud of yourself. Many of us are reasoning smarts, however having our numerical skills underdeveloped, does not automatically make us ignorant or weak in this type of intelligence.
I'd also like to note that I have met people who were amazing with numbers and calculations, but so weak in existential, intrapersonal, interpersonal, musical or visual intelligences that they were simply hard to watch. But like I said, weaknesses do not make you ignorant, it just means that you can work on specific fields and become stronger. A genius even! That's all!
