Akane fell in love with Samuel Tunas upon her arrival in Sulani, where she had relocated for a position as the head chef at the most prestigious hotel in the archipelago. He hid the fact that he was married which made their love affair last longer than she would expect. She hated him for this lie but she raised his son with love, never keeping them apart. Taking care of a child while being a renoun chef is not easy task, but Akane is a strong woman. She's very proud of what she achieved, and her successes are well deserved.
