Writer Maaike and artist Ulrike don't care much about material goods, but even these two roommates admit they could use a few upgrades around the house. Maaike's particularity about her writing means she often passes up opportunities in hopes for better ones. And Ulrike's perfectionism means she scraps more paintings than she completes.
