Intro
I wanted a farm with a good blend of coziness and space, which would be suitable for a playthrough which does a little of everything! It has foraging areas, an unlockable quarry, custom fishing areas (river, lake, pond, ocean, even waterfall!), and a handful of little hidden places and easter eggs! The magical seals you see around the map are a built-in fast travel network.
This is a fully custom map and does not replace any of the vanilla farms. It does not replace the vanilla farm cave either, so you can feel free to use the replacer of your choice!
Configurability:
Many things on the farm are configurable. You can enable/disable things like: decorative flowers, fallen logs, decorative buildings and trees, and more!
Starter gifts:
The farm comes with customized starting gifts depending on the specialization you choose! You can pick from Farmer, Forager, Florist, Rancher, or Fisher in the GMCM and your beginner gift will change. You can also choose how much of a beginning boost you want, from "Challenge" to "Overpowered," or somewhere in the middle!
Unlockables:
Your farm grows with you! As you reach milestones in the game (such as unlocking the quarry, reaching certain levels in the mines, and finding the Secret Woods), certain areas on the farm will become accessible to you!
Fast Travel:
The map is somewhat large, but I wanted it to be easily accessible. I found some map's shortcuts to be hard to memorize, so for Honey Creek I concocted a custom fast travel network - simply activate the magical seals you find on the ground and choose what location to warp instantly to! This is intended largely for travel within the map, but there is a quick access to the Secret Woods once that's unlocked. Additionally, all the vanilla access points (Back woods, Bus Stop, Cindersap Forest) are located within 30 tiles of the main farmhouse, making it easy to get into and out of the farm.
Easter Eggs:
There are several features on the farm which will give you a pleasant surprise: from new areas to decorate, magical locations where rare loot can be sometimes found, and a deity who may decide to bless you if you please them. This last bonus is toggleable in the config, if you find it too OP.
Farming:
All the tiles on the farm are tillable/diggable, so you can garden to your heart's content! There is plenty of room for crops as well as an orchard, mushroom log setup, and more!
Foraging:
The left side of the map is deliberately wild, and is home to all sorts of forageable items! Forage will spawn here more frequently than on the rest of the farm. The swamp offers naturally grown mushrooms, and may even eventually give you rare ones when you hit a certain level of progress! There is also beach forage on the beach to the south.
Fishing:
This map features custom defined fishing areas where you can catch any type of (normal) fish in the game! Legendary fish, or fish from rare locations such as Night Market or Witch Swamp will not appear, for balance reasons. It has both freshwater and saltwater crab pot locations, as well! There is a hidden area where you can catch cave fish, but you didn't hear that from me...
Multiplayer:
It is fully multiplayer compatible with room for up to 7 cabins in either "nearby" or "separate" configurations.
Playability:
It has been extensively playtested by me, and I have done a LOT of tweaking! This is the main map I play on, so you can expect frequent updates for a while as I perfect things. I am happy to receive feedback as well, so please feel free to comment with things you'd like changed/added, and I will consider them!
Future Plans:
- Add support for the world map, so it properly shows the custom farm.
- Better support for recolors other than DaisyNiko and Vanilla.
- Customized farmhouse based on starter gift choice.
- Even more easter eggs??
Compatibility:
- Cabins to Farmhouses: These mods should work together out of the box, but choose the "Separate" layout to avoid clipping issues.
- Stardew Valley Expanded: The Secret Woods warp will be placed differently when SVE is installed.
- Wildflour's Forager: Forageables from this mod will automatically appear on the farm when this mod is installed.

This mod is fully compatible with the following recolors:

Vibrant Pastoral Recolor (if you use the Orange Fall version, please set the config in Alvadea's Tilesheet config)
Elle's Dirt and Cliff
It is partially incompatible with Soft Slow Seasons, because Alvadea's Tilesheets are. This means some of your cliffs will be vanilla-colored. I am looking into what my options are for providing compatibility with this recolor, but it will be a little while before I can support it.
If you experience issues with the above recolors/the map appearing with vanilla tiles, please check the sticky post on the Posts page for a fix.
Dependencies:
- SpaceCore is required for the daily blessing feature. If you do not have SpaceCore, please disable this option in the config or you may get an error in your log.
- Farm Type Manager is required in order for the special forage to spawn. Regular forage will still spawn, but it will be less common. If you do not have FTM installed, you will get an error in your log stating that the FTM version cannot load, but otherwise nothing will be affected.
