UPDATE: V.1.1.3 is now compatible with Poltergeister's Slightly Cuter Aesthetic mod.
This mod changes Sam’s wedding outfit to a traditional Norwegian wedding outfit (known as “Bunad” or “Nasjonaldrakt”) and includes:
- Knee-length Wadmal trousers
- Embroidered linen shirt
- Highly detailed red vest (for unmarried men)
- Romerike Jacket (depending on the season)
- Stockings
- Black felt hat (depending on the season)
- Traditional silver sølje accessories (belt buckle, cufflinks, buttons, pocket watch, suspenders, and shoe buckles)
The Norwegian people are known for being independent yet loyal, placing a high value on family (especially children), and being exceptionally good at music- and since Sam’s character seems to embody all these traits, I thought giving him a Norwegian background would suit him really well.
I haven’t decided if both Jodi and Kent are Norwegian, but at least Kent is in my mind. I imagine Kent passing down his own wedding Bunad to Sam on his big day with your farmer, giving him a tangible way to be close to his son on his wedding day (even if you marry Sam while Kent is away).
And I think Sam would want to feel this connection too and share it with your farmer- on your big day together as one new family.

If you want this mod to be compatible with other sprite editing mods, you'll need to either delete Sam's wedding version in those mods or only have this one installed. Having two different mods that change Sam's wedding appearance will not work together and may cause the game to crash.*
