An adventure map inspired by the games Portal and Portal 2!
This Terraria Adventure map has portal-based puzzles using the Terraria item "the Portal Gun", which in normal play drops from the Moon Lord, but I've decided to make and adventure map out of it!
Please Note: This is not a recreation of neither Portal nor Portal 2, simply a similar, inspired adventure map. It does not contain the story of the games, but may have a few references here and there.
If there is a mistake or problem with the map, please tell me and I will attempt to fix it as soon as I can!
There are two files you need to download
One is called "Chell.plr". It is a Terraria player file, for a player I recommend using for this map, but it's not necessarily required if you don't want to.
The second file is "TerraPortal.wld" it is a Terraria world file, which is the actual map.
Simply put those two files in their correct places in your Terraria directory and have fun! If you don't know what or how to do that, I'll explain below.
Otherwise, Have fun with this map and don't forget to tell me if you have feedback, problems etc.!
[INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONs] (In case you don't know how to do this.)
- Put the Chell.plr file in the following location on your computer:
Windows : "My Documents/My Games/Terraria/Players"Mac : "~/Library/Application Support/Terraria/Players"Linux : "~/.local/share/Terraria/Players" OR "$XDG_DATA_HOME/Terraria/Players"
- Put the TerraPortal.wld file in the following location on your computer:
Windows : "My Documents/My Games/Terraria/Worlds"Mac : "~/Library/Application Support/Terraria/Worlds"Linux : "~/.local/share/Terraria/Players" OR "$XDG_DATA_HOME/Terraria/Worlds"
- Then launch Terraria, and they should be in your players and worlds sections. If not then try looking up a tutorial online to help you with accessing your Terraria directory.
