Pre-Built Towns 3.0
Now with a Hallowed Town
The zip contains a world for every difficulty mode and world size
***Note: The Mushroom Town will need to be added onto in Large worlds only. The Truffle will not move in since the Town is too low. The easiest fix is to add a room for the Truffle just off to the side of the shaft leading to the town.
- Make sure the room is in the surface level.
- Don't forget to replace the walls.
- Make sure to add a Table, Chair, and light source.
- I suggest you surround the room with at least a 4 block thick wall of wood to protect from being converted.
I've included an image as an example, click images above.
I may update this in the future.
Thank you SmittyBTokin!
Use this world to play through the new Journey's End update
The world has a simple and efficient base with some chest organization (I've also left behind some extra chests of different colors for easy customization).
There are 8 different pre-built towns placed around the world, one for each Pylon's Biome
Towns are easy to spot on the surface.
Each Town has:
- At least 3 houses for use with the new NPC Happiness functionality included with the Journey's End update
- A building near the center with a Bed and an area to build a Pylon
- Protection from Meteors
- Protection from being converted by Hallow or Crimson
- Simple decorations for it's Biome
There is also a hallway of rooms, each blocked by ores of different strengths. Unlock each room as the game progresses to find a Chest containing Items with the largest crafting trees in the game (such as the Cell Phone). None of these items are game breaking (imo). (No Journey's End items)
Updates:
- Added a version of the world for each difficulty
- Deleted extra NPCs in the first town
- Added a version of the world for every world size and difficulty
- Made a few minor changes to some of the towns
Version 3.0:
- Added the Hallowed Town (Hallowed Seeds will need to be planted to convert the Town's Biome). Thanks for the idea carinyc!
- Filled in Towns with Glass Walls to prevent Mobs from spawning.
- Deleted the floating desert town that appeared in medium worlds. Thanks b3nt3nmaru!
- Made a few other minor changes.
Notes:
- NPCs may spawn in towns you have not discovered yet. If this happens you may set the NPCs house to one you have discovered in the Menu under Housing (Right side of the screen, just above the equipment slots)
- Two-story buildings always have at least 2 suitable rooms
- Towns cannot be converted by Hallow or Crimson, but the area around them may be converted, potentially changing the towns Biome
