Purpose
This addon creates scrolling combat text that is intended to replace the default float text included with Wildstar.
I personally prefer this text to be contained within a single part of the screen instead of being spread out, although this does sacrifice some clarity as to exactly what numbers belong to a given unit.
Current state
This addon is definitely in beta. It will show damage and healing text, but that's basically it.
Top priority is to add other combat text such as miss/dodge/etc., then I will add other world text such as XP gains (these will be missing until I add them as this addon disables the default float text that shows these).
Planned features
Add in-game configuration for:
- text starting point
- text size
- text colour
- fonts
- events to show/hide
- text animations
