I made this by request of reddit user /u/ZataH, and also because the default guild message of the day sucks.
Features/Use:
- Open with /guildmail, /mailguild, the interfaces menu, or the "Advanced Options" button in the guild roster (same menu as "show offline") if you are using the default guild menu.
- Input subject, message, and an optional guild rank name.
- A list of members will be made, limited to the guild rank if selected.
- GuildMail will automatically open the Compose Mail default addon window and fill in the information
- All you have to do is press "Send" a lot.
- NOTE: The Compose Mail window will move down and to the right because it is opening and closing very rapidly. I recommend moving the window to the bottom right corner of your screen before you start pressing "Send".
Known Issues:
- I tested as thoroughly as I could without going as far as spamming my entire guild with mail, but there could definitely still be issues. If you find any, please leave a comment here.
- Window moving to the bottom right as mentioned above. I will look into it, but no promises whatsoever.
