Bonus Quest "Wild Hunt Offensive" (60840) is Level restricted

Hey all,
the Bonus Quest "Wild Hunt Offensive" in Ardenweald seems to be Level restricted (based on the comments on wowhead and some Party Sync testing by me).

Based on wowhead, this bonusquest is only available until level 57. With level 58 it seems to vanish and is longer obtainable.

I used a level 60 character with party sync, but as the level only gets downgraded to the max level of the content (60), this seems to be unobtainable if you missed it.

I'm using ATT SL 2.8.4

Kind regards,
Loradim

@ImUnicke, I think you had one unique 60 lvl alt with bonus objectives still available?

After enabling Debug mode, it shows as completed?

Maybe the issue is somewhere else?

Oh wow this is very curious... I just tried a Party Sync real quick with my wife's L60 Threads of Fate character, and it actually removed 4 of the Bonus Objectives from me while not changing anything for her (all still unavailable). That is very bizarre...

In Debug, ATT automatically uses Account-Wide collection for everything so you've completed that Bonus Objective on another character.

Yes, this is on a level 60, Threads of Fate character. So it's unknown exactly what is the cause to make certain/all Threads of Fate bonus objectives unavailable.

I'm actually curious to have someone who has done Threads of Fate, hit 60, and does NOT have bonus objectives available to Party Sync with this character to see if they show up or not. That would indicate it is specifically a quest constraint that removes Bonus Objectives, rather than purely a level-based constraint.

It almost feels like there is a QuestID which becomes removed when you do [Something] and reach L60 in Threads of Fate, and this QuestID is the hidden pre-requisite for various Bonus Objectives. So by Party Syncing with a character who has had that trigger removed, causes the BO's to not be available to my character. Super strange.

Do you have this quest still available for some lvl 60 character of yours?

I've checked all my chars (mostly leveled in 9.0 and 9.1) and either they completed it, or did not but it's also not available @60 anymore.

Anything I can help you with on tracking this down?

Yes the screenshots I posted are from a lvl 60 character.

I honestly don't know, but they don't seem to be Party Sync-able once your character misses them so we will be able to mark that in ATT, but knowing specifically why they get locked is going to be more of a mystery. We might just put in level 60 for now with a note that it's actually something more complex.

The closest I could find was a restriction to be level 57 or below (wowhead). But there must be more to it, as you still have it on your level 60 char. It might be nothing, but what I see on your screenshot, that you didn't do a lot of question in Ardenweald yet, as the area is still unexplored. Maybe something about that?

Here's a bit of an update, I forgot to pay closer attention >_<

But unlocking a bit of the Covenant intro for Night Fae and most of the Bonus Objectives have now disappeared. Last quest completed was 62899

Hey, I just came up with an idea / test, which does require a 2nd account though (which I do not have):

Could you try to party with someone in BFA Chromie time (which should bring you to level 50, as this is the max for Chromie time in BFA), partysync with that one (which would allow you to enter Shadowlands as you are level 50 now) and see if now this Bonus Objective is still available?

Just testet this with a friend today. He used a fresh level 10 Account with no timewalking. After Partysyncing, my level was restricted to 50, but the Bonus Objective didn't show up. This however, might be because the level 10 character didn't do any Shadowlands quests, so maybe pre-requisites were missing for the Bonus Objective to show up?

Quite so... very likely that a character requires at least 60129 "Stranger in an Even Stranger Land" and possibly a bit further for SL content to be considered 'active' for that character, which would inherently require the character to reach lvl 48 I believe.

Furthermore, for bonus objectives specifically related to 'Threads of Fate' characters, the QuestID 62713 needs to be marked as complete, as this is the flag for 'This is a Threads of Fate Character' for Blizzard. This is triggered true when you chose 'FATE' during the selection box of quest 62704 "The Threads of Fate".
