Feature Request: add list as favourite with clickable link for easy opening

Hello,

First of all thank you for best WoW addon by far.
I would like to suggest a feature that myself and many completionists would LOVE!!
Most of the time in expansions I have many different things scattered between the zones left to collect.
I use ATT to track those things, but the navigation part is a pain. Too many different zones and subcategories to track!

Solution: allow clicking on any list (via specific key similar to CTRL) which adds it as "favourite".
Favourites should be easily accessible in some way. For example a separate minimap button.
A custom keybind is ok, but personally I prefer something you can click on without remembering keybinds.

End result I should be able to track many different categories as favourites - something like a "farm to-do list".

Hope you can consider this, as over the years that has been my only major gripe (the navigation) :)

Here is example of current way to "add a favourites list":

It takes too much UI space, it doesnt persist across reloads or restarts (that i know of), and if i do close it then i need to find each one again!! Very user unfriendly imo :(

Have a good day and thanks

Yes this feature has been requested before and it has been on my 'todo' list for ATT features for quite some time. We just keep having other stuff coming up that needs to be addressed. Hopefully this will be figured out at some point 😩

I see, no worries! For now I will just resort to excel sheets as usual :)
Cant wait though! Im sure many would fall in love with this feature!!!

if you popout an ATT window and put it into a specific UI location, you can 'Lock' the window by Alt-clicking the header and it will always open in that UI location for that ATT Profile, regardless of character.

Thanks for that tip, didnt know about that feature!
Im a bit confused though - for example I opened a separate list by right clicking a header.
Then i alt+left click the header in that NEW window, and the window is now locked. (i cant move it around).
But when I /reload, the windows disappear. I checked that tab afterwards by searching for it again, and it is still locked.

Am I missing something? Is there a way perhaps to make it stay open at reloads and restarts?
Thanks :)

But it should go into the same location/size if you pop out the same header as when you locked it in the previous session, right?

Not currently.

Ah yes I guess it will.
Its a little bit useful for sure but only about 5% of the issue, the main problem was navigating through multiple different lists for multiple zones to find those scattered rares and drops to collect :)
Moving the windows around was not much an issue.

But anyways im looking forward to that feature, hopefully it comes soon.
Thank you all for your work. <3

@Rezy942 Just a side note about how you say 'it doesnt persist across reloads or restarts' if you popout an ATT window and put it into a specific UI location, you can 'Lock' the window by Alt-clicking the header and it will always open in that UI location for that ATT Profile, regardless of character.

But otherwise, yes the TODO list functionality will happen eventually...

Just adding another vote for this - it's useful for something like a multi-zone questline that'll take me more than a day, like the main Shadowlands questline - it'd be nice to lock it in Oribos and just have it there to work through over the next few days without having to return, and find it, and lock it again.

(but also thank you for the insanely useful addon!)
