When I put mouse cursor over Ensemble: Obsidian Prowler's Garb in vendor dialog, ATT does not show that it contains uncollected appearances.
When I bought and learned it, ATT correctly aded "already known" to tooltip.
this is probably because you have trial of style filtered out — the items don't show up in the tooltip when trial of style is filtered. open the options, go to the unobtainable tab, and make sure trial of style is UNCHECKED in the seasonal section.
Yes, it was filtered out by default.
I logged this issue because similar rewards for ToS seasons 2 and 4 have this extra info added to their tooltip. So something still needs fix here.
all the ToS ensembles are coded in exactly the same way, so i'm not sure what the issue could be. when i filtered out ToS i was unable to see any relevant tooltip information on any ensembles i didn't know, and as soon as i unfiltered it i was able to see all info for all ensembles.
Well, strange. I will sum up what I saw: I newer participated in ToS before. I have alliance pandaren monk. ToS items are filtered out in ATT settings. When I talked with ToS vendors for 1st time, Ensemble: Obsidian Prowler's Garb did not have extra info in tooltip. Ensemble: Tundraspite Armor and Ensemble: Restless Dreambound Battlegear had info like "contains 7 appearances" in blue. Fashionable Undershirt also had orange X and "Not Collected". After I collected them all, ensembles has extra red info in tooltip "already known" (in the middle of it). Fashionable Undershirt has blue checkmark and "Collected" in upper-right corner.
the "contains 7 appearances" and "already known" messages are actually from blizzard, not us! if they're missing on items, it's due to a blizzard inconsistency. the ATT tooltip information is the "collected/not collected" X/checkmark in the top right (may not show up if ToS is filtered out; i can't check right now) and a list near the bottom that says "contains:" with a list of gear found inside the ensemble (this definitely doesn't show up with ToS filtered out).
