ATT shows info in chat that some objective of achievement is complete. However this not happen for progression-related achievements. I have just get 100 points in Draenor Mining, and corresponding objective in Draenor Master of All achievement changed to green. However ATT did not report this.

I recall that I did not saw notifications for other similar proffesion objectives too, but I thought that I simply missed them. This time I was looking specifically to check this for sure, and it turned out that there is issue with this.

As far as I know ATT has never reported in the chat log when you progressed on an achievement. Do you have a screenshot by chance? It could be another addon doing it.

You are right, it is not from ATT - it is from Overachiever. Sorry for confusion.
