I found that ATT no longer shows in tooltip what can be bought for Blackfang Claw and Halaa Battle Token. Progress for item showed in top-right corner of tooltig (like 4/9) is also gone. This worked in the past and stopped working recently. I tried to refresh collection (shift-click on icon), but it did not help.

Edit: ATT also does not know about items from Legion Dalaran which can be bought for Shiny Pet Charms. Older items (from WoD) are tracked properly.

this will be fixed as soon as someone has time to make cost show up in currency/item tooltips. we're in the middle of changing the way we show currency information (including items that are treated as currency, like halaa tokens and pet battle charms), but the presentation isn't fully implemented yet.

if you go to a halaa vendor in the minilist and hover over the items, at the bottom of the tooltip you'll see "cost" and then which tokens are required to purchase the item and how many; we just need to update the way that information is displayed on the tooltips of the currencies themselves. not many people on the ATT team can implement a change like that, but hopefully someone can get to it soon!

The "Contains" list on items used as currency on a vendor has been addressed in 5122ed4 and 76d37da.
