I received the heroic item from ABT, Verimathras. The tooltip shows not collected. Its difficult to tell from the game UI which versions I do have, but I think the game acknowledges the fact that I have it. But the tooltip bug is annoying. It was upgraded with a socket, so I don't know if that is causing an issue

Try hitting Shift+Right click on the "ALL THE THINGS" header to force a refresh check of your collection. Sometimes if you are in combat when you receive it, having lag, etc Blizzard delays the flag so addons can't check it as easily.

If it still shows up after forcing a refresh we can look further and determine if there are any other possible reasons.
