Be nice to have an option that would inform the user of achievement's they have almost completed. Much like how wowhead does with their character planner.

This could also be expanded upon and show Top Almost Completed Raids/Dungeons, etc.

One way to implement this could also align with other requests to be able to "Sort By Completion" where every list item is arranged in order from Least to Most complete, recursively within each group. Then finding your closest completed achievements would simply be to sort the list and just check the closest to complete in each category as desired.

Instead of that, an entirely new window would probably need to be implemented to show the information in the desired way, and that is a more substantial undertaking than adding a method to sort existing groups, so I wouldn't hold tons of hope for such a feature in the near future.

I've managed to add an alternate sorting option for sorting the groups by total completion, which nicely lets the user see what groups are closest to overall completion (i.e. 99/100 is closer than 9/10).

This does not take into account the actual progress within a given achievement like mentioned in the Wowhead comparison. I'm not entirely sure how to determine that within the game currently, but it could be added on eventually for how to sort achievement progress against other achievements within the same sub-group.
