After creating and the addon recognising the illusions associated with 'Tome of Illusions: Outland', the enchanting collection tab is still refusing to recognise Illusion: Battlemaster and Spellsurge. Strangely enough I can see them in the appearances tab, but checking the old illusion vendor in the Draenor Garrison still lists them as locked.

I think this is cleared up now. Garrison Enchanter's study illusions are no longer considered collectible since they are temporary based on having the building active.
So there's no more hassle of trying to 'cache' collecting them and finding out it's removed again after you've removed the building.

oooh, it might be the building ones, because they are super weird. you have to assign a follower to the enchanting hut (or whatever it's called) and do an odd combination of speaking to the follower, logging out, and manually refreshing with a shift+click. i was able to talk to the follower, log out, speak to the follower again, and they got added, but others have had to do it multiple times or add refresh(es) into the mix (eta: i think with the garrison follower window open? maybe?). if it winds up being the garrison versions, i can try to figure out a way to make that more obvious from the ATT profession window.

I've unassigned Croman as a follower, re-added him but he still shows the two Illusions as being locked, so maybe this is a Blizzard issue as opposed to addon. Might be better if the Illusion section in the added was titled 'Illusions (Garrison Building)' or something perhaps to distinguish between the two?

If you're in agreement I'll raise it with Blizzard and see if I get anywhere with them.

did you exit the game and reopen the menu afterwards (some people have had to restart the game/reopen a couple times, i think)? but yes, i can try to do that after i finish work today!

my suspicion is that blizzard will probably tell you they are not collectible recipes, but for some reason they show up in our recipe automation thing and we can pick up "this character has access to these illusions" somehow, it's just an ultra-bizarre method of "collection" or recognition.

have you tried shift+clicking somewhere in the ATT main/mini list? illusions are often weird and require a manual refresh (you should get a message in chat saying your collection has been refreshed). if that doesn't work, we can look into it further and try to diagnose the issue!

Hey, yeah I saw that on another issue thread, that's how one of the illusions is checked off, but not the other two. I've made sure the addon is on the latest version (2.1.1a) and relogged to ensure that's not causing any issues.

I'm wondering whether this is actually a Blizzard issue rather than addon bug since the uncollected illusions are listed under the Enchanting > Recipes > Illusions section, which I believe is pulling the data from the unlocked Garrison illusions. The addon recognises I have all 3 illusions from the tome, but maybe not from the building?

What's your thoughts?

The Garrison ones are just particularly bad about registering, but you should be able to have it with the follower attached and trying a few times.

I'll leave it for a bit, see if the situation changes tomorrow? Who knows, if turning things off and on again didn't work, we wouldn't have IT.

I've raised a case with Blizzard to see what they say, no harm in trying at least.
