I hover over an item im wearing, and a splitsecond later, the item location disappears (it does show for a splitsecond). how do i fix this?

It sounds like interaction with some other addon that modifies tooltips. Try to see if it works with other addons disabled.

even if its only on the items im wearing? with bags, for example, the location in the tooltip stays.

well, nvm. after maintenance, it fixed itself
