Loading into the game/reload UI doesn't also force a full re-collection (which is what the Shift-Click does) since it's trying to help save on load times when it's usually not necessary to full refresh.

Full refresh does automatically trigger when first loading with a new version of ATT each release though.

This just happens in very rare occasions where either the server does not notify the Client that they learned a new appearance, or it does and somehow does not get picked up.

Have you refreshed ATT (Shift+Left click on any header/map icon)? Sometimes it's needed.

That worked! This has been sitting in my bag for days. Why wouldn't it pick this up after a game restart?
