This addon brings back the achievement announcements. It works a bit differently than other such addons, as it doesn't use the actual guild chat by default. This means only people with the addon will see the achievement announcements by default, unless you decide to send them in the actual guild chat instead (it's an option).
- Bonus features -
- Option to play the Achievement Sound Effect on your end when you get an achievement.
- Option to view level up notifications. It works similarly to the achievements! Only those with the addon installed (and the option turned on - it's off by default!) will see those, as they are being sent with the addon. There's also an option to only see notifications for level 60 and up if you'd like to turn them on but limit spam a little.
- Option to show a "Guild Message of the Day" window upon logging in to a character. This can be useful to avoid forgetting to read it when it gets drowned by spam.
- Modes of operation -
- Mode 1 (DEFAULT BEHAVIOUR): Send the notifications only to other people who have the addon installed within your guild as a system message. This ensures that only people who actually want to see these announcements will see them, and people who don't want to see them won't.
- Mode 2: Send the notifications directly in guild chat so everyone without the addon can see them. NOTE: This only works for the ACHIEVEMENT notifications. Level up notifications won't ever be sent in actual guild chat. (CONSULT YOUR GUILDMATES BEFORE ENABLING THIS OPTION)
- Text options -
- The announcement notifications will use your guild channel's colour scheme.
- You can enable or disable class colours on people's usernames.
- You can select which chat frame you want to see the notifications in.
- Extra formatting options -
You can format the tag a few different ways.
I'll use "Example" as a guild name for this example. Depending on your settings, it will look like one of the following:

- [G] [Username] has earned the achievement [Achievement]!
