This addon is a part of asMOD addons, that I have developed since 2008 and distributed through Inven in Korea, mainly focusing on better game FPS, supporting full optimized lua code. Each addons work independently. You can visit my youtube channel to see how those are working in dungeons.

Enhancing WoW's Default Spell Alerts

This guide explains how to enhance World of Warcraft's default spell alerts. Since WoW's built-in features offer limited customization, this requires the WeakAuras addon.

  1. Adjusting Alert Appearance/Transparency based on Buff Duration: The appearance and transparency of the spell alerts will be dynamically adjusted according to the remaining duration of the buff.

  2. Configurable Appearance/Transparency with Default Appearance Support: Options will be available to customize the appearance and transparency, while also providing a default appearance.

  3. Distinguishing Buff Stacks (2/3/4): Different visual cues will differentiate between buff stacks:

    • 1 Stack: Displayed on the left side.
    • 2 Stacks: Displayed on both the left and right sides (one icon each side).
    • 3 Stacks: Displayed with a green icon on the right side.
    • 4 Stacks: Displayed with a blue icon on the right side.
  4. Tracking Proc Buffs (e.g., Arcane Power): Proc buffs, such as Arcane Power, will be tracked. When these buffs trigger, a red visual effect will appear on both the left and right sides.

  5. Hiding Buffs Displayed by asPowerBar or asCombatInfo: Buffs already being shown by the asPowerBar or asCombatInfo addons will be hidden to avoid redundancy.

  6. Enabling Spell Alerts in Settings (ESC > Interface > Combat): You must ensure that "Show Spell Alerts" is enabled in the in-game settings (accessible via ESC > Interface > Combat).
