Auralin Viewport is an add-on designed to modify the game’s WorldFrame.
This add-on is not a standard bar creator. AVP does not create a black bar that covers the game. Instead, it alters the shape and position of the WorldFrame—the UI frame that renders the 3D world.
Essentially, it expands your viewport. If you have a standard monitor, you can place a viewport on the bottom or top of your screen, resulting in a widescreen view. The world’s most skilled players have been utilizing this technique for years, and AVP follows in the footsteps of Sunn - Viewport Art and other exceptional add-ons that, unfortunately, are no longer being maintained.
The distinguishing feature of this type of add-on is that the vacant space is not simply wasted. You can place any add-on you desire over the empty space. This allows you to conveniently position your damage meters, chat, raid frames, and other elements away from your world frame, enabling you to see more of Azeroth. Additionally, you can utilize texturing add-ons over your empty bar.
**Usage:** Type /avp to access the options menu. Slide bars and text boxes enable you to preview your desired frame shape and location. Simply save and reload when you have the desired settings, and the rendered world will dynamically adjust to fit your new frame.
**Version 2.0.0 is now live!** The latest version of the add-on employs dummy frames to adjust the WorldFrame’s size and position. Consequently, the add-on no longer requires immediate reloads to prevent crashes. The code has been significantly enhanced for stability and localization. The slide bars and value boxes remain functional, and your previous settings will be retained upon update.
