Question About sound categories

What is the difference between sound categories (Alarm, Alert, Info, Long, Warning).
I can't seem to find this info anywhere.
I'm mostly trying to make sure a sound only plays if it affects me, and not also because the mechanic is happening.
(i.e. only play a sound if I get a debuff to run away, but no sound otherwise. These options are confusion when an ability has an "Alarm" and a "Warning".).
