I usually change colors for emphasized boss bars according to some scheme (for example, making them yellow for a tank buster, green when group needs to soak, etc.).

It would be nice to have a color palette to simplify changing colors.
Basically, a UI widget that allows you quickly and easily pick some predefined or custom color and assign it to a bar.
Ideally, it should be a part of the existing Color Picker widget.

Something similar exists in Plater addon, where you can change NPC colors by selecting them from a predefined list.
Once used, the color is automatically added to the list of favorites, so it's trivial to find it in case you need it again.

This modifies the color picker with additional features.
I also believe this isn't something for bigwigs, but other addons to improve the colour picker frame.
