mod-click on unit frames not recognized (mac)

Describe the bug
playing on a mac. assign mod-click to a binding with only a unit frame target. the assignment works, but when you hold mod and click on a unit frame, the modifier appears not to be detected and clicked behaves as if it received an unmodified click, so the binding will never activate (but any bindings you have for a simple click will). mod-keypress works fine, but not mod-click. other modifiers work correctly, but not mod (also called the command or apple key).
