A simple addon to backup and restore your WOW CVars Settings.
I found it odd that there wasn't an addon that allows you to save all your current CVars settings and then restore them later. This is especially true for addons that modify your CVars settings like ElvUI or TukUI or any Nameplate addon. Plenty of addons modify your CVar settings but you aren't aware of it. This addon will allow you to make a backup of your CVars before you install a new addon.
I created this addon because I'm constantly encountering other addons that modify CVars, while I develop and update my own addons.
Enjoy! It's very simple!
- Click Save
- Click Restore
- Reload UI
It's important that you click the ReloadUI after your Restore your saved CVars!
NOTE: This addon may NOT have permission to restore EVERY CVar variable. This is a limitation of the Blizzard WOW Client. This addon will however store every CVar setting regardless of permissions!
