Boss Ability Announcement (BAA) for DBM or BigWigs - Addons

Summary

This addon uses DBM or BigWigs timers to announce X seconds before the end of a timer an incoming boss ability.
Example on Eranog encounter: 4 sec before the end of the timer, the "Flaming Rift, soon" voice is played in game.

This addon only includes the EN voice pack for the current content for Dragonflight (expansion dungeons, season 2 mythic dungeons and the second tier raid).

Voice packs

Another voice packs are available for the current content or for old content. Voice packs are also available in different langs [EN, FR, DE, IT, ES]. Check voice pack list here !

Custom voice packs

On request, I can create custom voice packs (eg: manage old raid content, change announce message for a specific abilities, support another langs, support another voices in the same lang). Don't hesitate to contact me !

Warnings

This addon is under developpement and thus, it is not perfect.
This addon listens DBM/BigWigs events. Sometimes, these events don't include spellId or include old spellId. In these cases, the addon can't always find the corresponding spell.
Few spells are not include in the addon database (e.g. trash's spell or affix spell or spells not referenced in the WowDataApi)

Description

Make sure you have previously installed an updated version of DBM or BigWigs before installing this addon.
Install "Boss Ability Announcement" addon and activate all BAA addons in the addon list

Select the DBMEA addons to enable the core addon and the different voicepacks

At launch, the Event frame is shown on screen center, you can move it where you want

The addon manages an event frame that is shown X seconds before the event. Few config button are available on this frame.

You can launch /dbm test to see how the addon works (sounds are not played because dbm test not provides spellId for event)

The addon listen DBM events (launch /dbm test to see the result on frame, no sound is played because the dbm test no provide spell id)

You can config addon directly on the frame

OR you can enable/desable voice alert in the wow addon config view

In the addons setting view, it is possible to enable/desable specific spells for each encounter.

Project development

This addon is created and matained by Milho (Dalaran EU Realm) / Maseo (Cho'gall EU Realm). Artificial intelligence has been used to transform the spell names (retreived from WOW Data Api) into voices.
