when i open the main window and scroll up, sometimes wow.exe crash. maybe it's because the amount of data is too large, but is there anything i can do to avoid it?

I've been having this same issue since just before pre-patch. I emptied the current log as well as lowered the number of deaths to log. It still keeps happening and crashes the entire game. I don't see any lua errors or anything in bugcatcher. I have to close the game and restart it.
Happened twice this expansion and had it happen in shadowlands too. Open /dn and randomly whole wow.exe freezes until prompted to close program. Limits 50deaths and 40s, persist between seasons checked.
I guess since its so rare and random its hard to figure out.
Had 2 more crashes since last post and it seems it wipes last run in details and maybe one crash wiped changes in weakaura made that session.
It happens when you scroll up on prot paladin deaths
Not just prot paladins, but I do think you're onto something. I crash reliably when scrolling up on our tanks, and it seems to not affect most other people. This seems to not happen when dragging the scroll bar, only when scrolling with mouse wheel while mousing over something. I didn't spend time reproducing the issue so much, so some of this may be slightly off.
