Is it possible to separate the week affixes dropdown choices from the saved routes? On this week I would like to see which mobs are inspired, and I have to change to the week to 4 on every single route\dungeon one by one, as I guess the week number is saved with the route. Since no Teeming it wouldn't be a big deal, and even now I can just leave it on an Inspiring week for the whole season I guess, but maybe in the future seasons would be useful if you once change the week to something, it stays there on all routes and dungeons until you change to something else.

The actual behaviour is ok I guess if you have different route saved for every dungeon every week, and you just choose the week4 necrotic wake route, and it automatically jump to week4, but I think this is the less common usage style.

Perhaps if the Affix dropdown had a new option which was 'Always current affix' or something, so the route author had to make an implicit choice between a specific week or let it auto-update each week?
I know most of my routes don't change week to week, so having this could be helpful.

Oh that's wonderful. In that case I think a "always current affix" option in the dropdown would be great, and any routes with that selected with internally pick the current week and then alter the inspiring etc symbols as if that week was picked? I'm not sure if auto-detecting current week is possible?

I'm not entirely sure this is the right call. The reason for this is because some routes, despite not necessarily being a different mob layout, actually differ in terms of choices due to affixes.

To take a good example, on bolstering week we split a couple of pulls up due to bolstering being a garbage affix not being able to guarantee execution on them. This makes our routes on that week different, and worth tagging as different (so we don't accidentally use the wrong route), even though the mob layout has not changed.

This warrants more thought, though; the current affix selection is clunky, and most routes are likely valid/unchanged for 6+ weeks of the cycle.

Perhaps the weekly affixes could be assigned like specs/talents are in weekauras? You can pick a single one, or go into more advanced to cherry pick (i.e. pick all except bolstering for one route, and make another bolstering route)
