Welcome to EZ Mount 4.0.0

Firstly full credit to Tarrawhite-Nemesis, author of MandrilMount. EZ mount is based on Tarrawhite's work and wouldn't be possible without it. Massive thanks to Paxxs for testing/feedback and ideas.

EZ Mount is a designed to provide a smart and simple way to mount depending on your situation. It works with all class's, provides water walking/path of frost, one click vehicle dismount, glider/fall ability/potion capability all from the click of one button.

Features

For Shamans and Death knights, it will add water walking or path of frost if in a non flyable zone ( water walking cannot be cast at same time with Ghost wolf due to Blizzard ).

  • For Druids, EZ Mount will put you in travel form when able to fly, mount or swim and cat form for indoors and your main form when not traveling. If you not moving when you click the macro, EZ Mount will choose mounts instead of Druid Forms.
  • If you are under level 10, EZ Mount will choose your heirloom mount ( if you have this ) automatically
  • If you in a vehicle, clicking the mount button will dismount you from the vehicle.
  • If you are falling, EZ Mount will attempt to slowfall you using: Druid flap, Zandalari racial, Engineering cloak, Goblin Gliders, Slow fall ( Mage ) or Levitate ( Priest ) or slow-fall potions.
  • If you are in The Maw or Vash'jir, EZ Mount will pick their respective mounts.
  • EZMount works with mounts with a , in their name i.e "Shu-Zen, The Divine Sentinal".
  • EZMount now works with Torghast items and clicking again will dismount you
  • EZMount can control certain game frames ( in testing but mostly functional )
  • EZMount now works with slowfall / launching and movement toys i.e silver shardhide whistle
  • EZMount will let you emote and/or message when mounting off

Basic usage

To use the addon, create keybindings from the keybinding option in the main menu ( ESC - Options )

Open the EZ Mount options panel from the keybind, the minimap icon, or the ingame addon menu ( ESC - Option - Addon tab )

Mount name i.e Red Proto-Drake

  • Random ( pick a zone appropriate mount i.e Saltwater seahorse when underwater, Blue Proto-Drake in a zone you can fly in )
  • Class ( pick your Legion class mount, or class specific mount like Felsteed for Warlock. Will pick a random one based on if ground or flying mounts are available to use)
  • Party ( choose a zone appropriate 2 person mount , only works in party not raid , if no flying mount available it will try pick a ground passenger mount)
  • Covenant ( pick a zone appropriate covenant mount )
  • Favorite ( pick a zone appropriate mount from mounts starred in the mount journal )
  • Mountoff ( get on the same mount as your target, does not work for other faction only mounts, different convenant mounts or mounts you dont own )
  • Latest ( pick the last mount you learned ). Required a new mount to be added after installing the addon version with this feature.

Assign a keybind to the macro slot on your action bar ( make sure there are no alt/ctrl or shifts with same keybind )

You can also omit mounts ( i.e shift/alt mounts ) from the macro by leaving a space between the ,'s. Example:

This will cast Traveler's Tundra Mammoth if you use the macro with control and no mount will be cast with shift (empty argument) or alt (omitted argument).

You could also leave Traveler's Tundra Mammoth off the end and the mount will only summon your flying, ground mount, or ocean mount.

Other Features:

  • EZMount now has an options panel included in the Menu>Interface>Addon panel. You can also access the options by typing /ezm config or /ezm options ( or /ezmount instead of /ezm ). Changes will apply when you click the okay button at bottom right of the panel.
  • EZMount now gives you the ability to track the amount of mounts usable on your current character ( similar to the statistic for mounts usable on one toon for the mount achievements ). To bring up the options panel type /ezm count or /ezm mounts ( or /ezmount instead of /ezm ). This will bring up a dialog box similar to the below image:

Known issues

  • You cannot assign keybindings for Alt, Ctrl or Shift  to the same letter/number as your EZMount macro key-bind, else the alt/shift/ctrl functions will not work. i.e If you have M set as your mount key-bind and Shift-M set for Taunt, then Shift-M will not activate the Shift-Mount.
  • EZ Mounts icon changing currently doesnt work with Mega Macro ( by far the best macro addon ive ever used )
  • Using another macro with the same name or a macro name that is a number may cause issues
  • If you create a new macro the icons wont work untill you do a /reload UI
