This is because they are simply not tracked in any way in the game. I have yet to find a function for knowing whether or not the player has learned Fist Weapons (the skill simply shows up as Unarmed in the skills tab and when using Fist Weapons Unarmed will be leveled up).

This will have to be tracked some other way.
