Kind of a silly addon, Good Night was created for a fellow Guild Member who kept saying "Good Night" and then instantly logging out, leaving the rest of us missing the chance to wish them a Good Night :(.
Very basic in functionality currently, and I'm really only uploading to make it easier for my friends to download - perhaps one day I will expand upon the functionality for added customization :).
To use this, create a macro using /macro that runs the command /goodnight, set it on your hotbar and press it when someone says good night :).
Planned Features:
- Configurable channel settings (currently only responds to /g chat)
- Configurable timeout (currently only detects the first "good night" message within the last 2 minutes, to prevent it from responding to someone also responding to the player leaving)
- Configurable keyword detection (currently only listens for "night" and "g'night", and blacklists the phrases "night elf" and "night elves")
- Configurable response phrase (preferably from a list, currently responds with "Laters <name>! This is an automated personalized response :)" automatically or "Laters <name>! This is a personalized Macro :)" when used manually)
