Enables the user to mail items to any character, based on the filters that were set up. No more need to go look through your bags.

How does it work?

There are 2 ways to open the configuration UI. The first is simply typing '/grandmail' (without the quotes). The second way is by right clicking the mail icon on the bottom right of the mail frame.

From there you should start with adding characters. This is both characters you want to configure filters on, and the ones you will be mailing to. Once all required characters have been added you can start creating Orders. This is done by clicking 'Add Order' and giving it a name. If no characters were selected the order will be Global, meaning that it can be seen on all your characters.

Here you start adding Recipients to your Order by simply selecting a character you added earlier and clicking 'Add Recipient'. When you click on one of the Recipients you can start editing Filters. This is where things get interesting. There are 3 group types: AND, OR and NOT. These groups can have more Groups inside them, or Filters.

Filters can have the following properties:

  • Name
  • Amount (Negative number sends all but the specified amount)
  • Expansion
  • Rarity
  • Quality
  • Item Level
  • Transmog
  • Item Type:

    Consumable
Gem (pre-dragonflight gems might be a bit sketchy)
    Item Enhancement
    Armor Slot
    Armor Types
    Weapon Slot
    Tradeskills
    Recipes

After setting up all the filters for this Recipient, click the button on top to return to the Recipient overview. This saves everything you set up a minute ago. And that's it!

All that's left now is to actually mail things. When in the mail UI, instead of right clicking the button, left click and select the Order you want.

Any bugs you find, do let me know.

Video

Seeing I don't explain anything in the video, I'll do it here. I start with creating 3 characters, a warlock, a priest and a hunter. The warlock is my (supposed) main with the priest being an alchemist alt and the hunter a leatherworking alt. When those are created, I add an order I call 'Cleanup' as that's what I want it to do, clean my bags and send whatever I am about to set up to the correct characters. When creating the order I don't select a character so that all characters on that realm and faction can see it.

After the order is created I start adding recipients. For the priest I set it up so that all herbs and alchemy recipes from the shadowlands get mailed to it. Something similar happens for the hunter, except this time instead of herbs and alchemy recipes it's leather and leatherworking recipes. I also send weapons and armor to it that I don't already have the transmog of. Lastly the warlock gets sent transmog it doesn't already have, just like the hunter.

After setting it up you simply have to click the 'Cleanup' button on the send window and it should mail everything based on the filters. If I were to be on my hunter it would send cloth transmog to the warlock and shadowlands herbs and alchemy recipes to the priest. It will ignore the filter that was set up for itself as you can't mail to yourself.

!!! IMPORTANT !!!

I am not taking any blame for mailing errors and fuck-ups. If something got mailed to the wrong person, the problem was most likely between the chair and keyboard. On the off-chance that it is my fault, I apologise. At the end of the day all I can do is make sure it doesn't happen again.
