I would like to request an enhancement for the profiles name search feature such that players with names that have special characters like "ô" or "ä" are "simplified" such that their counterpart character, "o" or "a", is matched during the search.

Perhaps a way to do this is to store a simplified version of the character name in what ever data structure you use for players (along with their unique name) which has all of these special characters converted and is used when searching instead of the unique name.

Here's just one example of some conversions:
A = Á / À / Â / Ä / Å
a = á / à / â / ä / å / ª
