This addon adds map markers to the world map and minimap for all of the known locations of tameable hunter pets. You can set filters to determine what tameable creatures are marked by configuring filters in the filters menus.
Markers have popups that will display the creatures model and basic information. You can configure which map(s) markers are displayed on and set popups to be simple data popups in the settings menu.
You can set a waypoint to a tameable creature by clicking on one of its world map markers.
You can also search for tameable creatures by name and filters including Family, Type, Continent, City, Rares and more. Waypoints can be set to the tameable creature and matching battle pets and mounts if available from the buttons at the top of a results data.
When not using TomTom a map marker will be set at the final destination.
When using TomTom waypoints will be set for transports to the destination continent if needed and then to the final destination.
Waypoint paths are pretty rudimentary at the moment. A waypoint will be set to the first known location and if not found it will loop through locations setting a new waypoint to the next one until the creature is found or you interrupt tracking.
You can set tracking options and filters for tameable creatures to always track in the settings menu.
When the tameable creature is found through one of the enabled tracking options it will be marked with a raid target and a dialog will appear at the top of the screen.
Left-click the minimap button to open the search dialog.
Right-click the minimap button to interrupt tracking.
Ctrl + Left-click the minimap button to toggle the filters menu and set what will appear on your map and minimap.
Alt + Left-click the minimap button to toggle the settings menu and configure tracking, TomTom integration and other options.
If you want to help with coordinate and map ID corrections/additions, target the NPC, stand at its location, and enter the command /htinfo. Copy the data in the dialog that appears and send it to me.
To Do:
There are 237 (out of 6200 total) tameable creatures that I still need to get coordinates for. Most are in areas I do not have access to since I do not have the latest expansion.
More mounts also need to be added, though many/most that are available from vendors or NPC drops are already added.
