Every ability I use causes the castbar to show up.

I'm talking things like Judgement, Consecration, Crusader Strike, etc.

This is on 1.14.6

This is a feature, not a bug. There's an option in the castbar settings to turn it off. Look for "flash on instant" or something like that.
