iLevel Inspector is a World of Warcraft addon designed for retail WoW that allows players to inspect the item levels of other players. This addon provides detailed information about the inspected player's average item level, highest item level piece, health, faction, class, and specialization in a concise format. With customizable options, you can choose which information to display.

Features:

  • Inspect Average Item Level: Displays the average item level of the inspected player.
  • Inspect Highest Item Level Piece: Shows the highest item level piece equipped by the inspected player.
  • Health Display: Formats and displays the health of the inspected player in K (thousands) or M (millions).
  • Faction Display: Indicates whether the inspected player is Alliance or Horde.
  • Class and Specialization: Shows the class and specialization of the inspected player in a single string.
  • Customization Options: Toggle various display features on or off using simple slash commands.

Commands:

  • Check Status: /ilevelinspect status

    • Displays the current status of the addon.

  • Set Options:

    • Enable/Disable Showing Highest Item Level Piece:
      • /ilevelinspect set showHighestItemLevel on
      • /ilevelinspect set showHighestItemLevel off
    • Enable/Disable Formatted Health Display:
      • /ilevelinspect set showFormattedHealth on
      • /ilevelinspect set showFormattedHealth off
    • Enable/Disable Faction Display:
      • /ilevelinspect set showFaction on
      • /ilevelinspect set showFaction off
    • Enable/Disable Class and Spec Display:
      • /ilevelinspect set showClassAndSpec on
      • /ilevelinspect set showClassAndSpec off

Usage:

  1. Inspect a Player: Target a player and manually inspect them to display their item level information.
  2. Customize Display: Use the provided slash commands to customize which details are displayed according to your preferences.
  3. Reload UI: If changes do not appear immediately, type /reload to refresh the user interface.

Example Output:

  • Faction, PlayerName, Spec & Class, HP, Average iLevel, Highest iLevel piece:
    • Example: Alliance, Manifest, Restoration Shaman, 1.2M HP, Average iLevel: 501, Highest iLevel piece: 515

Installation:

  1. Download the addon from CurseForge.
  2. Extract the files to your World of Warcraft AddOns directory:
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns\iLevelInspector\
    • Launch World of Warcraft and enable the addon in the AddOns menu.

This is a very small text based addon that is of extremly low file size, made to not take addon memory.
