Are you tired of having to remember to set your focus target at the beginning of a dungeon to be able to misdirect or tricks to your tank?
Or annoyed by dragonflight dungeons constantly removing your focus target and then having to reset it to your tank?
If so, this addon is designed for you!
LazyDirect will automatically create and update macros for Misdirection and Tricks of the Trade based on your current party!
Just join a group and your Misdirection or Tricks of the Trade macro will automatically update to misdirect to your tank!
How To Use LazyDirect:
1. Open your list of macros either by typing "/m" in the chat window, or by opening the Game Menu and clicking the "Macros" button.
2. Click and drag either the "Misdirecton-LazyDirect" or "Tricks of the Trade-LazyDirect" macros onto your action bar.
3. Use the macro as you normally would use the ability! The macro will automatically update to point to your tank.
Putting the power in your hands with configuration!
LazyDirect allows for configuration giving you the power to make the macro operate in the specific way you want, giving you the option to select which modifiers you wish to include in the macro, and the order in which those modifiers appear.
To play with the configuration and gain the full power of this macro, open the game menu -> options -> addons -> LazyDirect. Make sure to hit the confirm button when done to activate your changes.
Tanks found in the wrong order? Not a problem!
With LazyDirect, its super easy to swap your tank positions. Just use the command: /lazydirect swap
This will swap the first tank in your party to the tank 2 position and the second tank in your party to the tank 1 position within the macro. To swap back simply run the command again!
(note, since macros cannot be updated in combat, /lazydirect swap will only work outside of combat. This feature is mainly useful for when groups have to split and the player is in a group with the 2nd tank. Make sure to plan ahead before the pull)
