I can't seem to get a profession link into a macro using Mega Macro. Shift + clicking the profession button in the profession window, which normally links the profession to your cursor, does nothing. Any idea why?

It does appear that this has been brought up before -- Shift + click just doesn't work at all, it seems -- but there's been no acknowledgment of it. What gives?

The mega macro window is completely separate to the built in one. It doesn't automatically inherit all the features. What gives? What gives is that the demand for such features as Shift-Click professions was never high and thus was never implemented. Shift-Click spellbook should work since the demand (and justification) for that was higher.

I don't play WoW anymore but I do help maintain the addon by releasing features and fixes that the community contributes. You are more than welcome to try and add this feature and then submit it as a Pull Request so all can enjoy it.

Ah, well, I appreciate the work you do, despite your not playing WoW any longer. The "What gives?" was in reference not to the missing feature but to the lack of a response to all the issues that have been posted for 3+ years about it -- though again, had I realized there's no active development, I'd have been perhaps a bit less surprised. In any case, again, thanks for the work you still do.
