It's possibly blizz bug, so mb they'll fix this. But I'll leave the issue open just in case.

I am also getting a similar bug. I play a rogue and when I attempt to apply my poisons from my Spellbook the error pops.
However when I reload the UI. It seems fine. So I am not 100% sure how to make it pop everytime.

I think I have the same bug. I don't get an error message, but am getting a popup from blizzard saying MountsJournal has been blocked from an action only available to the blizzard UI. I have to disable the addon for my action bars to be functional again. It is very sporadic when it pops up. If I enable the addon when I start playing it seems ok, the next day when I play it will happen within the first 5 minutes of playing.

For me, I have noticed it happening after load screens. So when I hearth from place to place or zone in/out of an instance.

I'm getting this a lot lately after dragon riding or switching specs. I used to happen pretty much every time I switched specs on my druid from balance to resto and back again but after the last mounts journal update it seems to be happening more often and during or right after dragon riding.

Hello, I can't reproduce this error. Possibly it's due to some other addon, it's just that MountsJournal used this functions last.

I'm still working on trying to figure out exactly how to reproduce this. I've tried running all my addons without MountJournal running and so far I haven't seen the same error. I should also mention that after the error shows up most hotkeys stop working.

I unbound the mount key for mount journal and ran it without the hotkey bound and saw this today. Not sure if this may help narrow down the issue or not. However after this different error showed up all of my hotkeys continued to work. Again this was after I unbound the mount hotkey for MountJournal.

I have this issue very frequently after loading screens. Probably every 3rd dungeon I enter requires an additional /reload to enable use of keybinds. If there's anything I can do to help you nail down the cause I would be happy to help.

Unfortunately i can't reproduce error, i don't know why this happens to some players, perhaps this is the result of the interaction of some addons.

Could you please run this command in-game directly after loading your character:
/console taintLog 1
(default is 0)
And then play until you get these errors again? once you do, please log out (this is crucial, the client uses a buffer for writing to the log and it can take up to 10 minutes for errors to appear) and upload the contents of World of Warcraft\Logs\taint.log to pastebin and paste the link here.

I'm also getting these or similar errors, usually after zoning into a lfg dungeon. Reloading fixes it...will do the taintlog until/unless it gets tracked down

That means that your addon tried to call a protected function, not another addon

I dont want to be a dick.. sorry if it comes across that way.. But its a serious question.. because then i want to find out what other addon it can be.. but i mean it says like i said that mountsjournal is trying to access that function

latest version, it just randomly happens, i played remix, and it mostly happend while going instances / raids i think. As the taint log shows it someohow happens while in combat.

It makes me not able to cast anymore

i will keep taint log running.. and try to remember what i am doing when it happens again

i just had this error again. I was in a LFR grp and just used spinning crane kick from a monk. Then the error occured:

I need a full log my tainlog first string Global variable LE_FRAME_TUTORIAL_TOYBOX tainted by MountsJournal - Interface/AddOns/!my_addon/my_addon.lua:663 from another addon

well you have a different error, but in any case it is still caused by mountsjournal.. in my case it is using a blizzard only function.. which has something with using hidden buttons.
i am not a programmer so i have no clue :D but thats what i read from the log

No, this error is tainted from Interface/AddOns/!my_addon/my_addon.lua:663 (another addon)
Mb you need to enable /console taintLog 2 taintlog wiki
But I don't see any error in my addon, and I don't have any errors.
