import button just clearing all bars but does not import bars from export text

import button deletes all bars but does not import anything.
i wanted to transfer/update the bars from one character (rogue, lvl 80, horde) to a second character (rogue, lvl 70, alliance).
on the second character the import button cleared all bars but nothing was imported. So evreything is empty now. There is no lua error and no other addons are active.
