V 3.0 IS UP - BIG UPDATE ADDING PARTY TARGETS AND PARTY BUFFS AND DEBUFFS

This addon updates, hopefully improving, the default Blizzard party frames. As a result all in-game functions and menu optoins remain intact. Only individual elements have been altered. The scope of this addon is primarily limited to resizing and repositioning of default party frame elements and updating the party frame border art to accomodate.

The addon now also has two optional modules, PartyFramesImprovedTargets and PartyFramesImprovedBuffs.

You can enable or disable them from the normal Blizzard addon screen. There are no options at this time.

After discovering UnitFramesImproved by kiforsbe I wanted the default party frames enhanced in the same way. Not finding anything that suited me I spent the time learning to do it for myself. I hope you enjoy the results:

Primary Features:

Slash commands:
/pfi or /partyframesimproved will open the configuration pane to adjust scale and position of Party Frames.

Updates the following to both Vehicle and Normal Party Member Frames.

  • Increase Height of Party Member Healthbars
  • Allow adjustment of Party Frame scale
  • Allow adjustment of Party Frame position
  • Adjust Party Member Frame texture
  • Adjust Party Member Frame Flash texture
  • Add party member class colors to Healthbars
  • Addon settings can be accessed via the Blizzard Addons pane.

  • Slash commands added
    • /partyframesimproved or /pfi for ingame descriptions
      • Slash commands to
        • change party frame scale
        • change party frames vertical postion

Big thanks to kiforsbe for his UnitFramesImproved. I wish it could have been as simple as cutting and pasting but his addon was my template and jumping off point for learning how to create my own addon.
