This addon is a complete replacement for the experience bar and does not take up any screen space.
Hovering over the text will also display a tooltip with the current rest status (and bonus XP):
[0.8.4]: Experience is now only displayed when it is gained (for 5 sec.) or when hovering the mouse over a character's name.
Since I didn't add any new elements, just simplified the existing ones, you can compactly combine the three command panels as I did, for example:
