Snarky Notes
Introduction
Snarky Notes lets you set short notes about any targetable player or NPC in the game, these notes are automatically shared with your guild, or can be retrieved by and from any other guildies using this addon. Use these notes to keep track of PUGs that you like, to make a note of people's professions, or to flag loot ninjas.
Usage
After you load Snarky Notes, there will be an icon attached to your minimap. Click on it while targeting a player or NPC to display a dropdown menu. From here you can choose from three options.
Display Notes
This will display all the notes you have stored on your target, along with the names of who set each one. This writes to chatbox1, so if you have a nonstandard chat setup, look there for the output
Set Note
This will open a popup box, from here you can set a note about your target. You can also use this box to overwrite any previous note you'd set.
Request Notes
This option will ask any guild members running this addon for notes about your current target. If they have them, they'll be sent to you silently, then displayed. This will happen rather quickly. Don't forget to click on display notes after your request goes through to see what your guildies had to say.
