Description
Spamageddon is a nifty little addon that aims to reduce the amount of spam in trade chat. It hides repeated messages and also sends the spam message back at the author via whisper. Sending the spam back is completely hidden so it does not increase the annoyance factor for you, only for the spammer. If several people on the same server use the addon the spammers will get overwhelmed with their own crap, hopefully making them think twice about their foul actions.
Usage
The addon requires no configuration at all but it does provide you a few commands to enable and disable the addon and fine tune its verbosity.
- /spam on Enables the addon (default)
- /spam off Disables the addon
- /spam notify on Enables the notify messages every time the addon catches spam
- /spam notify off Disables the notify messages (default)
