Mage's Firestarter may display:

• a Spell Activation Overlay (TBD)
• a Glowing Action Button: Flamestrike (undoubtedly)

After careful consideration, Firestarter will use the Impact texture, on "Top" position, at 0.8 scale (80%).

The Impact SAO will use the Lock and Load texture. This means the Impact talent no longer uses the Impact texture. This decision was taken because:

• Firestarter is such an important talent in Wrath in both PvE and PvP, whereas Impact is only used in PvP
• the Impact texture was designed by Blizzard for Cataclysm, but the Impact talent was reworked between Wrath and Cata
• with the current talents, Impact texture suits Firestarter very well, and the Lock and Load texture suits Impact very well

All in all, we should remember that Spell Alerts were designed for Cataclysm talents. It makes sense to use eponymous appearances (i.e. Impact texture for Impact talent) when talents are mostly identical between Wrath and Cata. But both Firestarter and Impact are drastically different between these expansions, so we should not stick to use a texture solely based on its filename.

As for the 80% scale factor, this was a logical adjustment because the Impact texture feels way too heavy, compared to other effects displayed in this position.
